When you see someone hurting, do you ofter those hurting a hug?

A lot of you will say yes if the person receiving would like one.

But how often do you give yourself love or a hug?

When we are hurting. Some of us were brought up to have a stiff upper lip.

Some get angry, Some are mean to others and Some cry.

Others do things that are not serving their higher selves to take the pain away. The list is endless and I have done many of them over the years.

However, now I would like to share a little bit of magic with you all.

Healing your hurt inner child.

When I am emotionally hurting. I ask my higher self what does my inner child need today?

Most of the time it is just to acknowledge and listen to how I am feeling. Followed by a hug by the older part of me. Sometimes I have to do a few things, one example is energetically grounding onto the earth, another is surround myself in a sphere of love and support. I have once even punched an energetic punch bag etc, before I give myself a hug.

This can be a short hug or a longer one, where I lie down and I am embraced in unconditional love. My higher self always knows what I need. I sometimes call in angels to wrap their healing wings around me.

While I was mediating it came to me the other day to love and support my inner child each day for a few minutes, even when I am not hurting.

In this sacred time to put some 528hz music on that vibrationally connects me to love. I spray a love spray around myself. I choose to  give myself a hug in front of the mirror or I close my eyes and say the following affirmations.

I love you

I hold you

You are loved, you are important, you are seen, you are listened to and you are acknowledged.

Today I will shine, I will smile and I will laugh and I choose today to be a good day and I surround myself in unconditional love, light and healing.

It is so important to give yourself and your inner child the same love you give to others each day.

Go out today and shine your light beautiful souls, as your heart heals, feels supported  and awakens to the beautiful energy of love.
