A ritual of forgiveness and letting go.
Freeing yourself from energetic ties:

A ritual of forgiveness as you let go of what is no longer serving you.
There are moments in our life when we can feel the invisible thread/cord that still connects us to a person, a memory, a mistake, or a painful chapter in our lives.
Even when the relationship has ended or the situation has passed, the energy lingers. It can show up as resentment, guilt, sadness, anger, or even self blame.
These energetic ties and cords can quietly hold us back from moving forward fully.
Forgiveness is not about condoning what has happened. It is not about saying, “It didn’t matter.” It is about freeing yourself from the weight of resentment, guilt, and pain you may be have been carrying for a really long time.
This is your sacred time to reclaim back your energy.
Forgiveness is freedom. It is about self love, self care and honouring yourself and awakening the power inside of you that you have been giving away for such a long time.
One of the most powerful ways to begin let go of what no longer serves you is through a simple, intentional ritual, the Letter of letting go.
Writing allows emotions that have been living quietly inside you to move.
When you put words onto paper, you give shape to feelings that may have been unspoken for years.
This is your space.
You may choose to write a letter of forgiveness to:
Yourself
Someone who hurt you
Someone you may have hurt
A situation or chapter of your life
This letter does not need to be perfect. It does not need to be polite.
It is not to be sent.
This is not about them.
This is about you and your healing.

Ritual for letting go.
If you haven’t done this before, here is a gentle guide to support you.
Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Light a white candle if you wish. Take a few slow breaths. Place your hand on your heart and set the intention:
I am ready to let go of what has been holding me back.
Let the words flow without censoring yourself. You might begin with:
I forgive you for
I forgive myself for
I let go of the pain of…”
I am ready to let go of
Or please use the sample I have given you.
Allow honesty. Allow emotion. Allow truth.
You may feel tears, relief, anger, softness, please know that all of it is welcome.
If it feels safe to do so, read your letter aloud. Hearing your own voice letting go can be deeply powerful. As you read, imagine the energetic cords between you and this person or memory gently dissolving.
This is not a letter you send.

Instead, choose one of the following symbolic acts of release:
Burn it (safely) and watch the smoke carry your words away.
Bury it in the earth, allowing the soil to transmute the energy.
Place it in water and let it soften and dissolve.
As you do, say:
“I let go of this with love. I call all my energy back to me.”

Place both hands on your heart. Take three deep breaths. See yourself lighter, clearer, freer.
You may wish to thank yourself for showing up.
Sometimes you’ll feel lighter
You may feel a shift and sense of relief.
Sometimes emotions rise before they settle. So be kind of yourself.
All of it is part of the healing.
You are not erasing the past. You are changing your relationship to it. You are choosing not to carry it forward in the same way.
This alchemy it is powerful.
You deserve to feel free.
You deserve peace.
You deserve to move forward without the weight of yesterday.
Sharing with so much love,
Nicola xxx
