Are you starting to, or have entered the powerful stage of the Crone?

Are you going through perimenopause or are you post menopausal where you haven’t had a bleed for a year or more?

I turned 50 in April and what I thought was my last bleed was at the end of March. After 6 months and stepping into my life and role as a Magdalen Rose priestess & Magdalen Rose healer, to my surprise it has suddenly come back. Not sure how long they will last. So I have also created a post on if you are still bleeding as well.

There comes a time when our relationship with our bodies, our cycles and with ourselves begins to change.

For some women, the monthly bleed comes to an end, and with it can come a whole new way of connecting with our feminine energy. It can be a hard time for some and a joyous one for others.

The word crone can seem like a negative one. However this stage in a woman’s life is one of the post powerful times where she truly steps into her power.

The Crone isn’t about becoming old or losing our femininity.

She represents wisdom, transformation, intuition and the freedom to step more deeply into who we are.

The dark moon can be a beautiful time to pause, let go of what we no longer need and set intentions for the next chapter in our lives.

One simple ritual I love is making an offering to the Earth using something symbolic of the blood we once shed, perhaps beetroot juice, cranberry juice or even a little red wine.

You might pour a small amount onto the earth with gratitude, speaking your own words of letting go with, thanks or intention.

There is no right or wrong way to do this. It’s about what feels meaningful to you.

This is our sacred time. To stop asking who we should be, and start listening to the whispers of the woman we are becoming.
